The Three Great Steps of the Listener
towards Truth

Classical music knows different steps of empirical gaining knowledge. Basically, we distinguish:
     purely comprehending the musical      reality,
     judging the musical truth,
and the determined musical path to      knowledge

At a conventional university
nowadays the endeavor
for “knowledge” and “truth”
runs out already within
the first three states of consciousness:

That is the reason why
(so far) the gate to the fourth and fifth
and thus also
to the sixth state of consciousness
is closed
for the professors of the
conventional university
and accordingly for their students, too.

And as all of them
lack the authentic experiences
connected with the
sixth state of consciousness,

therefore also the higher knowledge
gained on this specific
higher level of cognition
is personally totally alien to them all –
also in the area of
PHILOSOPHY.

And even when
the conventional universities
refer to the statements
of the great thinkers, philosophers,
scientists, artists and prophets,
and, like thieves or blind believers,
make their knowledge and their wisdom,
in the limited context of the
first three states of consciousness,
the subjects of their teachings
and their studies,
nevertheless the
higher states of consciousness

obtained by the wise and
demanded by them,
as well as the higher levels of knowledge
connected to these states of consciousness,
are personally completely alien
to their professors and students:

As they all
are not able to take
the natural higher views of cognition
of the great thinkers, philosophers,
scientists, artists and prophets
and therefore
lack
those authentic experiences
in the higher levels of consciousness –
of which the wise report:
also in the field of
PHILOSOPHY.

This section of education in the field of
COGNITION / KNOWLEDGE

starting from the
first five states of consciousness –
by means of the scientific coordination of

Integrative Feeling,
Musical Harmony-Space
And Coordinative Intellect

on gaining the
sixth state of consciousness:
REFINED COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS.

  Developing the Natural Sense of
Community

In the musical sequence-spaces, the cognizing listener consciously unfolds into a social being; because in the sequence-worlds he overlooks the sum of individual life-paths under the aspect of one common, manifold life-pattern, and within his personal experience he therefore reaches the level of knowledge of higher musical order: he sees with the eyes of a true born sociologist.

Highest Sociological Conveyance of
Knowledge in Music

Eventually, with an even greater density and concentration of personal experience of the manifold ways, the cognizing listener reaches an infinitely long life-path in the moment of the absolute Now.

Streams of Gaining Cognition
It is highest law of education in harmony with the Creator, with Almighty Nature and with the dispositions of man, inherited by birth:
that the teacher has to ensure in his work in many ways: that his student, and pupil respectively, reaches unencumbered the great goal: the essence of music: the harmony, and thus the creative field of his self- knowledge.

“As physicist, as a man, who for all his life served the down-to-earth science of investigating matter, I am certainly free of the suspicion of being considered a dreamer. And therefore according to my experiences with the atom I say the following:
There is no matter as such, all matter comes into being and exists through a force, which brings the atomic particles into vibration and keeps them together in that tiny solar system of the atom.
Since there exists neither an intelligent nor an eternal abstract power in the entire universe – mankind never succeeded to find the intensively longed for ‘perpetuum mobile
(that which is moved by itself) - therefore we have to assume conscious, intelligent spirit behind this power.
This spirit is the primordial ground of matter; not the visible but transitory matter is the real, the true (the ground) - because this matter, as we have seen, would not exist at all without this spirit – but the invisible, immortal spirit is the true.
But since spirit cannot exist as such, and since every spirit belongs to a being, we have to assume, with compelling logic, spirit-beings.
But since also spirit-beings can not be by themselves, but have to be created, therefore I do not fight shy to call this mysterious Creator in the very same way, as all peoples with culture on earth of earlier millennia have called him: ‘God’.”

The Cognitive Field of the Musical
Harmony-Space

The world of the harmony offers us the personal experience of an infinite multiplicity of lives which are being lived simultaneously, and which move before our mental eye and within all of our feeling like shining stars on free orbits.

And each of these individual stars are we ourselves; each single orbit is our own, very individual life-path, and this experience, in this highest stage of our musical cognition of truth, is our very personal truth.

“I know several young composers who are atheists. I have read their scores, and I assure you, that they are doomed to speedy oblivion, because they are utterly lacking in inspiration.
Their works are purely cerebral. The great Nazarene knew that law also, and He proclaimed it in John 15:4, ‘The branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine.’ No atheist has ever been or ever will be a great composer.
Jesus answers that question unequivocally in Matthew 7,13: ‘Wide is the gate and broad the way that leadeth to destruction and many there which go in thereat.’
As I conceive it, theology is man-made, while religion is God-made.”

The Harmony-Technique
While harmony is the field of pure, human, musical knowledge without dimension in space and time, the harmony-technique is the gate between the harmony and the outer music – the transition from the state of being aware in oneself, to the process of becoming aware of a musical event.

“The invocation of the Muse expresses a supreme psychological truth and Homer and Virgil were well aware of it; they felt the need of aid from a higher source, a source outside themselves, in composing those great classic epics. In other words, they sought inspiration from above just as I do when I compose and just as Beethoven did.
As I said before, when I enter that dream-like state, I am in a trance-like condition - hovering between being asleep and awake; I am still conscious but right on the border of losing consciousness, and it is at such moments that inspired ideas come. All true inspirations emanate from God, and He can reveal Himself to us only through that spark of divinity within – through what modern psychologists call the subconscious mind.
It is the most inappropriate name for a part of divinity; superconscious would be a much better term but the best answer to your question is to be found in the Gospel of St. John, 14th Chapter, 11th Verse, in which no less an authority than Jesus, Himself, says, ‘Believe me, that I am in the Father and the Father in me.’
In John, 14,10 He says, ‘The Father that dwelleth in me, He does the works. And then in the 12th Verse of the same chapter, He adds, He that believeth Me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, That is one of the most momentous of Jesus’ many significant utterances and is one that the Orthodox Church ignores.
First of all, I know that that Power exists. You cannot appropriate unless you believe that it is a real living Power, and the source of your being. This you cannot know with the conscious mind which is an evolutionary product of the material realm; it can only be perceived with the real, the eternal EGO – the soul-power within.”
                             Brahms

.

“My most beautiful melodies have come to me in dreams. I practically composed this entire concerto in a semi-trance state in which, however, I was always conscious.
The composer while creating any work of lasting value stands face to face with this Eternal Energy from which all life flows, and he draws on that infinite power.
The composer must sit in silence and wait for the direction from a force that is superior to the intellect. If he knows how to contact that power, he becomes the projector of the infinite invisible into visibility, or rather into audibility, in the composer‘s case. In my opinion, the great composer is not so much the reflection of God, as has been claimed, but rather the expression of God, on this earth plane. In proportion as he grasps this profound truth will he reveal to the visible, audible world the Divinity within him.”

Johannes Kepler was not only a world wide outstanding astronomer, but also a highly successful researcher in the microcosm of music and thus a very excellent musicologist – so he succeeded to systematically-logically trace back his astonishing laws of the planets to this microcosm of music.

In doing so he was – as a scientific researcher as well as as a God-enthusiast – very consciously and specifically on the trail of the harmony laws of his Creator in the field of scientific astronomy.

Let us hear himself about it:

“See, I have now completed the work, to which I bear witness. I have used all the forces of my mind for it, which You have given to me. I have revealed the glory of Your works to the people, who will read my elaborations, to that extent of their infinite abundance, which my narrow under- standing had been able to grasp.”

“Now, that after eighteen months ago the first morning light, three months ago the bright day, but only few days ago the full sun of a most marvellous vision has risen, nothing holds me back anymore.
Yes, I leave myself to holy mania. Jeeringly I resist the mortals with the open con- fession: I robbed the Egyptians of their golden vessels to furnish my God a holy hut with them, far away from the borders of Egypt. If you forgive me, I am happy.
If you are angry on me, I bear it. Alright, I throw the dice and write a book for the present or posterity. It is all the same to me. It may wait for its reader a hundred years, after all, also God had waited six thousand years for the viewer.
