Contradiction to Fundamental Truths
in the Gaining of Knowledge
Creator and Cognizer Teacher and Pupil in the in the Cognition of Truth
For us, the role of the cognizer and the function of the creator result in two completely opposed paths:
The Cognitive Tools of the Learner The Formative Tools of the Teacher
As learners we regard our feeling and our understanding as our tools of cognition, and in that sense we use them in our process of our gaining knowledge.
As teachers, from the level of pure self-awareness, we regard the very same tools which, however, are in full function within us this time mainly as our tools of forming.
Thus, in terms of our position as learners and of our standpoint as teachers, a highly contradictory personal view of the phenomenon of the “world” results.
The World the Unlimited Dynamic Field of Universal Life
As teachers we perceive the world as the unlimited, dynamic field of absolute life, of our own life, but also of cosmic life in general, and we consider our individual achievement as the achievement of a person scooping from an inexhaustible sounding well and spraying the pure waters of teaching in a myriad of droplets into the world of the learners to enliven them.
The World the Holy Fountain of Human Fulfilment
As teachers, however, we see the purpose of the world quite differently.
In our lives we enjoy ourselves skilfully gathering those skilfully effused vibrating drops and collecting them into the thirsty mouth of our gaining of knowledge, to thus enjoy the marvellous refreshing spring from the holy well of truth, and to feast on its precious drink.
The World of the Musical Sacrifice
Now we realize that the apparent contradiction of these so different positions of the creating and of the cognizing person of the teaching and the learning person towards the world and towards life is founded now in the process of give and take.
It accounts for the charm of musical life, and turns out to be the true musical sacrifice.
The Integrated Musical Cognition of Truth
Therefore, we must assume that the wise has already reached in himself the integration of these two processes, that he experiences them simultaneously, and that he wants the seeker of truth to have this complete experience, too.
Therefore, then, can he “create” true music: scoop it.
